STICPAY offers two types of accounts—Personal and Merchant—each designed for specific needs based on the services you want to use. The fee structures also differ between personal and merchant accounts.

Personal STICPAY Account

A personal account is ideal for private individuals who want to use STICPAY for online payments or transferring funds to friends and family. Payments and account management are done in your name, so the payment methods and personal details you register must match your information.

Merchant STICPAY Account

A merchant account is for businesses that want to integrate STICPAY as a payment option for their customers. This account is registered in the company's name, and all payments and account management occur under that company name. Deposits and withdrawals can be made to and from a bank account held under the company name.

Note: To apply for a merchant account, you need a fully operational website and must provide a detailed business description and the intended use for your STICPAY account. During the verification process, you'll also need to provide official registration documents for your company.

If you have changed your phone number and want to update it, follow these steps:

Log in to your account.
Go to Settings > Info > Mobile Phone Number.
Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your new phone number.

Please note that even though you can change your email address for receiving notifications, the email associated with your login credentials will remain the same.

  • Incomplete Upload: You did not upload both sides of your ID document.
  • Name Mismatch: The name on your identity document doesn't match the name on your STICPAY account.
  • Poor Quality: Your document is blurry or illegible. Ensure your document scan or photo is high-resolution and clear.
  • File Issues: We couldn't open the file you sent, it exceeded the file size limit (10MB), or the file format was unsupported. To correct this, re-save your document in an accepted format (jpg, jpeg, gif, png, pdf).

Proof of Address (POA)

  • Missing Date of Issue: Your address verification document lacks a date of issue.
  • Document Age: Your address verification document must have been issued within the last 3 months.
  • Name Mismatch: The name on your address document doesn't match the name on your STICPAY account.
  • Poor Quality: Your document is blurry or illegible. Make sure your document scan or photo is high-resolution and clear.

Sometimes, we may ask for additional verification documents, such as Proof of Income or Source of Wealth, to clarify your account activity. This could result in a temporary account restriction until the situation is resolved.

To submit your Proof of Income/Source of Wealth document, provide one of the following documents to STICPAY:

Salary Pay Slip

Submit your most recent pay slip as proof of income.

Investment Statement

Provide a statement showing details of your investments.

Asset Selling Receipt

Send an email to account@sticpay.com from your registered email address to request account closure.

Once your request is received, we will guide you through the account closure process. If you have any remaining balance in your account, please ensure you withdraw it before closing your account.
